The presentation is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B. Part-A is meant for teachers’ extensive reading and in turn transmission of the essence to the students and Part B is for the teachers and students in general. The content of environmental education in this effort is marinated and enriched with stories, songs, jokes, riddles and art from the greater Assamese Society. The present venture helped us understand how close has been our culture and tradition to environment. It remains a conundrum as to why we drifted from there........
